About Us
We are Sam and Jessi!
Were were both born and raised in Southeast Minnesota. In fact, our parents went to school together and our sisters were friends growing up. However, we didn't meet until 2014 through a mutual friend. We both weren't looking for a relationship at the time. However, when you know.... you know. We took things slow at first as Sam had two young boys that we needed to take into consideration. Sam's boys have been the center of our world and the biggest highlight of our lives. After three years, Sam proposed. On October 20, 2018 on a breezy 38 degree day, we were married outside in our backyard surrounded by our family and friends.

We both come from large families that are close and spend a lot of time together. It is not an uncommon sight to see us all together laughing, playing games & having supper or even to watch a Vikings game. Family is extremely important to both of us and we are tremendously excited to add a child to ours.

Enjoying Life
We love a good time & laughing with friends and family. Now that we have a home that can hold our growing families, we love to have people over. Even though life gets busy, we always make time for family events.
Sam is very goal driven and ambitious and I am very detail oriented and love to do the planning, so we balance each other out and work very well together. From working on our farm, in the garden, remodeling our home, hunting, going on walks with our dog, or watching the latest TV series. Time together is very important to us. We can't wait to bring a child into our loving home.
About Sam by Jessi
Sam is the most amazing person I know. He is my best friend and has an unconditional love for his family. He will drop everything just to help others. He is an amazing father to his sons Ashton & Riley. Seeing him interact with his sons when we first met was when I knew he was the one for me. His love and passion for life and laughter is something I envy. He is always trying to improve things, especially in his business and in hunting.
If there is anything I can portray to you about Sam, its that he is truly an incredible man, husband and father. I have no doubt that he will continue to be an amazing father to our future child.
About Jessi by Sam
Jessi is an absolutely wonderful person. She has truly been my rock and my best friend. Her love for her family is unwavering, and she is the mother hen to her brothers and my boys. It may sound cliché but she actually lights up a room every time she walks in. Seeing the devotion to her family is remarkable. My wish is that she gets the opportunity to be the mother that she was always meant to be.
Our Home
We bought Jessi's Grandpa's homestead in 2015. Since then, we have been slowly fixing it up. We have approximately 25 acres to play, go on walks and ride ATV. Raising our future child in this home is extra special, as this is where Jessi's mom grew up and where Jessi spent a lot of her childhood.
We love having family and friends over for holidays and parties. So many memories have been made on this farm and in this home. We can't wait to make many more!
Ashton
Ashton is the oldest by 16 months. He has been the best big brother to Riley as they have been growing up. Always keeping an eye out for him. Ashton loves to hang out with friends, traveling the world, snowboarding and watching sports.
Riley
Riley is a miniature version of his dad. He is a very respectful young man that loves to make people laugh. Riley loves to hang out with friends, hunting, and ice fishing.

Our Furry Children
We have one dog and one cat. Ruby is a purebred yellow lab. Millie is a tabby cat. Both Ruby and Millie are lovers. They love attention, giving kisses and our cuddle time while watching TV. Ruby and Millie are full of energy and are constantly playing and chasing each other around the house. They both are fantastic with kids and will love having a little one around to play with.
Jessi's Family
Jessi's family consists of mom and dad (Sandy & Mark) who have been married for nearly 35 years. Two half sisters, Jane and Kate. Jane is married and has one son. Jessi also has two younger brothers, Bill and Tom. Bill & his wife Jasper have two sons. Tom and his wife Tiffany are expecting their first child shortly! Jessi's parents and brothers all live within 20 minutes of each other. Having your family this close has it's advantages. We can always swing by for short visits, family dinners or just for a good laugh.

Jessi's extended family also lives fairly close. 7 of her cousins & aunts & uncles live around the country block from where we live. Each family gathering has 40+ people. The extended family gets together for the holidays and it's fantastic to see everyone and watch their families grow. Everyone is very excited for our journey and can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

Sam's family includes mom and dad (Nancy & Mike), his older brother Brandon and his wife Heidi, who have 4 children, and 6 grandchildren! His younger sister Amie & her husband Shawn have three daughters and one grandson. His youngest sister Amanda & her husband Kurtis have three children.

Sam's family is very tight knit. We love to get together for family dinners, and also for the Vikings game. There is also a group of us that goes hunting together every year. There is never a shortness of laughter when we are together. We love playing games and just having a great time. Sam's family is continuously asking us how our progress is going and is tremendously excited for us to be growing our family.
Our Promise
More than anything we want you to know that your child will be loved unconditionally. We will raise him or her to grow up to be the best version of themselves. We promise to provide for your child and teach them about love, respect and kindness. We also promise to support your child in all of their hopes and dreams.
